Home Visit Volunteers Orientation aims to provide a fundamental training to volunteers who wish to participate in Tzu Chi Home Visits. Participants will gain a basic understanding of the philosophy of Tzu Chi’s Charity Mission, volunteer’s roles, ethics and general procedures.
Upon completion of this prerequisite training, prospective volunteers will be able to take part in the monthly Tzu Chi Charity Day, which is held on every first Sunday. As they go on-board to visit our care recipients, the experienced volunteers will continue to mentor and journey with them to cultivate the befriending skills.
There are 3 volunteers orientation in 2020: 29 Feb, 12 Jul & 11 Oct
Note: This activity is only open for those who have not participated in similar orientation programme before.
Attire: Plain and neat attire (tops with sleeves and long pants are good options)
