Teens Unplug and Get Muddy in Kukup Island’s Mangrove Adventure
55 Tzu Chi Teenagers (a.k.a. Tzu Shao) from Singapore and 85 support team members crossed the Johor-Singapore Causeway, leaving behind the hustle and bustle of city life for a three-day, two-night Tzu Shao camp on Kukup Island in Malaysia. Immersed in nature, the Tzu Shaos not only learned to observe and appreciate their own strengths and those of others, but also had the rare opportunity to live in harmony with nature and listen mindfully to the rhythm of the Earth.
